The XDS-245 offers the industry’s highest standards for hardware video decoding performance. Support for S1 to S12 media profiles, as defined by POPAI, the industry’s standards establishing organisation, simplifies device selection and content creation. Multi-zone screen layout, transparent PNG overlay, and graphical scrolling ticker support offer greater flexibility for signage display. The 24″, 24-bit colour MVA panel offers 16.7 million colours at 1920×1080 resolution for optimal presentation of 1080p HD video and HD images. The wide viewing angle of the MVA LCD makes it suitable for 9:16 portrait-mode content display.

VESA mountable integrated signage unit

The XDS-245 integrates essential signage hardware and features in a VESA MIS-D100 mountable display unit. A watchdog timer lets the display recover and resume playback from power, network or other disruptions. The all metal enclosure provides reliable passive cooling and features screw-lock connectors to prevent loose cables. Covered CF card slot lets you expand beyond the 4GBs of built-in solid-state local storage while preventing removal of card. In addition to a built-in Ethernet port, the XDS-245 provides built-in wireless b/g/n (2.4GHz only) to offer connected signage via a single power cord.
